My name is Mark Green. I have been a New Testament Christian for 52 years. I currently live in the North Texas area where I serve as an elder at the Lewisville church of Christ. I am married to marvelous Christian women for going on 40 years now. She is my support, my help, my mate for life. I could go do nothing without her, she is as much a part of me as my heart is. She keeps me centered and has become my strong support.
I have three wonderful children all having obeyed the N.T. command of salvation. They are faithful and involved in the work of our Lord’s church. 5 grandchildren who are the most precious of any, in anywhere, anytime. (Obviously i’m a little prejudiced toward them)

My desire for this blog is to encourage any and all Christians to walk worthy of the call to which you have been called (Eph.4:1; Col.1:10). I love writing. I have written many devotional thoughts, lessons and planned lesson over my years as a Christian. I hope some will be helpful to you. I have never authored a book, although I may try my hand at that. I write because I am able to better convey what my mind and heart are trying to say. My goal is to write on this blog at least 4 times a month. There will be months that have more and months that have less. It will be as time allows.
